truth.

what makes you so much more different than any other girl?

i'm just like every other girl- i like to complain so someone will make me feel better, i'm insecure, i'm over-analytical, i'm in love w shoes, i eat like a fucking slob, i prefer to hang out w dudes, i love sex, i want a gay best friend, i am overly passionate abt politics, classic lit is my favorite genre, i am all over the place when it comes to music, babies are hot, and so are old people, i spend a lot more time than i need to when getting ready in the morning, i curse, masturbate, fart, drink beer, smoke weed, make messes, pick my nose, smoke cigs while taking shits and reading "W", lay in bed naked for days at a time without showering and watching a plethora of movies, etc etc etc.

you get the idea.

the chick that tries to make herself stand out from the rest is probably the fakest and shadiest chick. being different is supposed to be effortless, and something that you can't really 'work on'. you can tell when a girl is a woman, and if that woman is more different and beautiful than any other creature you've seen. it's just, like, easy.

this was on someone i used to go to high school with's formspring. some of the first half doesn't apply to me, but i agree with the second half 100%. i always cringe when people say they're the realest, coolest, or fill the blank-est. if you're saying you're a certain way, it's like you make a conscious decision to be that way. i guess if one hears something about their personality that they like, they grab on to it and try to fill that mold to its fullest. i don't think it should be that way. when there's something unique about a person, you just know. they don't have to say anything. it's almost as if you're canceling that "thing" out if it's said explicitly.
