Case in point:
Comments like "cute pic, cutie, etc.", when you can't even see what's going on in the picture. I try to make sense of it, like maybe there's something there that I don't see. But after a few minutes of failing to do so, I realize that either I'm blind or the commenter must be extremely creative to see something I can't. It annoys me yet, at the same time it's just like, wow how blatantly hard are you trying to climb that social ladder that you have to resort to using bs compliments to get in good with that person?
